Healthy turf obviously depends on a vigorous root system, therefore it must have the right environment to develop. With being on a Site of Special Scientific interest we always aim to protect and enhance. After allot of research we have started using a activated microbial turf management program. The compost tea we are using is not a form of fertilizer, but is all about extracting the diversity of life contained in healthy soil by "brewing" a site specific compost in aerated solutions of water, nutrients and bio stimulants. The long term aim is to reduce fertilizer inputs/ increase drought and disease residence thus being able to produce healthy sustainable longterm conditions.
Very nice...how have you selected your site specific compost. Is it something you make on site?
