We took the desicion to slightly re-shape and turf the 1st and 2nd greens - these are nearly ready for play after a good grow in!

Sustainable golf

With being remote we try to source all golf course furniture locally and in fact make most it on our own - we utilise stones from the beach/driftwood/old whiskey barrels or even old fence posts for perching stands for birds. With winning the waste managment award from the STRI in 2010 its something we pride ourselves on that we are very creative in our sensible management of any waste product.

Local Schools

As part as our drive to educate both golfer and the local community we have participated in a few school visits recently. The activities range from an introduction to golf/SSSI studies/Wildlife management projects and plant identification sessions. Pictured are a local school helping us add more Wheateater boxes to try and attract more to our site.
